1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AccountingBrains' website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Services Description

AccountingBrains provides professional accounting services including, but not limited to:

Services are provided by licensed Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and qualified accounting professionals.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Respond promptly to requests for information
• Notify us immediately of any errors or concerns
• Make timely payments according to your service plan
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Safeguard login credentials and account access

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

Our services are offered on a subscription basis with monthly or annual payment options. Pricing is displayed on our website and may be subject to change with 30 days notice to existing customers.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

4.3 Late Payments

Late payments may result in service suspension. A late fee of $25 or 5% of the outstanding balance (whichever is greater) may be charged for payments more than 15 days overdue.

4.4 Refund Policy

Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months. Annual subscriptions: Pro-rated refunds available within 30 days of purchase. Service-specific fees (tax preparation, audit support) are non-refundable once work has begun.

5. Service Modifications and Cancellation

5.1 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

5.2 Cancellation by Client

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days written notice. You remain responsible for fees through the end of the notice period. Upon cancellation, we will provide all your financial records in standard formats.

5.3 Cancellation by AccountingBrains

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for:

• Non-payment of fees
• Violation of these terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Unethical conduct
• Professional conflicts of interest

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with CPA professional standards and applicable laws. Client information will not be disclosed to third parties except:

• With client authorization
• To authorized service providers under confidentiality agreements
• When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
• To defend ourselves in legal proceedings

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate client information
• We make no warranties about the outcomes of IRS audits or tax positions
• Time-sensitive filings require adequate advance notice (minimum 14 days)

8. Professional Standards

Our CPAs adhere to:

• AICPA Code of Professional Conduct
• State Board of Accountancy regulations
• IRS Circular 230 requirements
• GAAP and GAAS where applicable

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or our licensors' property and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Financial records and documents prepared for you remain your property. Our work papers and internal documentation remain our property.

10. Data Security and Privacy

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AccountingBrains, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

12. Dispute Resolution
